Other Amps

Think of all those other amps on the market past and present, there is a whole plethora of brand names many which are long gone, while others are the cream of amp's made today. Each and every one of them has it's own inimitable sound and tone, some great and some not so great (also check out our section on the good, bad and ugly on this site).

My personal views on some of these amps is not relevant here, because I have never played through almost any of these tube amps, firstly because to own the lot would make me bankrupt and secondly, because I lack the interest to track them down and try them.

This is where you come in. If you own any boutique amp, rare tube amp, discontinued tube amp, or your amp has some weird story behind it, then we want to know. Include a picture (or two) with your amp, include as much detail as you can serial numbers etc, dates etc and we will include it on this site for free.

Think of all those names that you have always wanted to try like, Soldano, Engl, Orange, Vox, Selmer, Park, Hi Watt, Laney, Matchless, anyway, this list would go on and on in to the night. Some of these amps are world leading technology (even as tube amps) and are generally carrying a very high cost. Others are just expensive because of the condition/rarity of the amp. Soma re plain junk.

Whatever amp you have that fits this criteria - don't forget - we want to show!
